REQUEST FOR QUOTES – ROAD MAINTENANCE & REPAIR
Ford Township is requesting written quotes from qualified contractors to provide road maintenance and repair services for the period beginning April 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027.
Services requested include, but are not limited to: Road grading and blading, Snow plowing and ice removal, Sanding of township roads, Gravel hauling and placement, Ditching and drainage work, Road repair and related maintenance, and Equipment and labor rates for additional services as needed.
Contractors shall submit an hourly rate schedule for equipment and labor, including any applicable fuel surcharge schedule, and provide proof of general liability and workers’ compensation insurance. The contractor will be an independent contractor and subject to reasonable supervision by the Township. The Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotes and to waive informalities in the quote process. The contract will be reviewed and approved at a regular meeting of the Ford Township Board on Tuesday, March 10th, 2026.

Ford Township Planning Commission Vacancy
Ford Township is seeking a Ford Township resident to serve on the Planning Commission for a three-year term beginning April 27th, 2026. The Planning Commission advises the Town Board on zoning, land use, and long-range planning, reviews proposals, participates in public hearings, and makes recommendations that support orderly growth, environmental stewardship, and alignment with the township’s Comprehensive Plan. The Planning Commission meets on the 4th Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m.

Ford Township Annual Meeting
Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Ford Township, Kanabec County, Minnesota, that the Annual Town Meeting will be held on:
Tuesday, March 10, 2026
7:00 p.m. at the Ford Town Hall, 3502 Mahogany St., Isle, MN 56342
The Annual Town Meeting is open to registered voters residing within Ford Township and will be held for the purpose of conducting all necessary town business as prescribed by law.
Please note that Ford Township conducts township elections at the General Election in November. No town election will be held in conjunction with the Annual Town Meeting.
In the event of inclement weather, the Annual Town Meeting may be postponed in accordance with Minnesota Statutes.
