STATEMENT OF THE TOWN BOARD CALLING FOR A SPECIAL TOWN MEETING
ON OCTOBER 24, 2023

Chair Dan Nowling requested by email for a special meeting for the installation approval of the lights in the parking lot of townhall for safety reasons. Payment needs to be submitted prior to the installation of lights. To avoid the increase of winter chargers this special meeting requested by Dan Nowling -Chair.

The particular business to be transacted at the meeting is as follows: Approval for parking lot security light installation before increase in winter.

The meeting is to be held on the 24th day of October, 2023, at 6:00 pm, at the following place: Ford Township 3502 Mahogany St. Isle MN 56342.

The Ford Town Board will meet on the second TUESDAY of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the Ford Town Hall for its regularly scheduled meetings unless posted otherwise at the Town Hall.

The Board of Supervisors will be holding Land Use Meetings on the 4th Tuesday of each month as needed at 6:00 p.m.
Agenda items need to be submitted 15 days prior to the meeting.

The terms of the Ford Town Board are as follows:

Supervisor Position A/1 (currently held by Tina Engblom) term will expire November 2026 and Supervisor will serve until the first Monday of January, 2027.

Supervisor Position B/2 term (currently held by Dan Nowling) term will expire November 2024 and Supervisor will serve until the first Monday of January 2025.

Supervisor Position C/3 term (currently held by Katey Verdeja) will expire November 2026 and Supervisor will serve until the first Monday of January 2027.

Clerk position (currently held by Mistea Roeschlein) will expire November 2024 and Clerk will serve until the first Monday of January 2025.

Treasurer position (currently held by Katie Fix) will expire November 2026 and Treasurer will serve until the first Monday of January 2027.
